TELEWORK COALITION ANNOUNCES 2006
HALL of FAME AWARD RECIPIENTS
Washington, DC, October 20, 2006. The Telework Coalition (TelCoa), dedicated to promoting the benefits of teleworking and telecommuting, announced the recipients of their Annual Hall of Fame Awards at the Call Center 2.0 Conference in San Diego, CA. “We recognize the people and organizations that further the adoption of mobile, virtual and distributed work through exemplary practice of this strategy and the encouragement of others to follow in their footsteps,” said Chuck Wilsker, President & CEO of TelCoa. Jack Heacock, Chair of the Selection Committee and Senior VP of TelCoa, commented, “We are very pleased to present our Annual Awards to such a deserving group. Most of these recipients have been involved in furthering the Work@Home™ option for many years and it is a pleasure to give them the recognition they deserve.”
Hall of Fame Awards were given in 12 main categories and one special category:
* Leadership in the Field of Implementation and Utilization of Work@Home Agents for the Insurance Industry: ARO Outsourcing.
* Repatriation of Center Jobs through the Use of Work@Home™ Agents: WorkingSolutions.
* Development of a Work@Home Agent Program within a Union Environment: KPOnCall.
* Legislative Advocacy that Benefits Telecommuters and Teleworkers Nationwide: Nicole Belson Goluboff, Esq.
* Leadership and Vision in Developing and Producing Health, Safety and Ergonomic Training for Teleworkers: Susan Harrington, HSA, Inc.
* Sponsoring Telework Industry “Best Practices” Research: Intel Corporation and Nigel S. Ballard.
* Sponsoring Research Focused on the Work@Home Agent Segment of the Call Center Industry: WillowCSN.

* Special Bob de Lorenzi Memorial Telework Award for the Person Who Follows the Ideals and Dedication Pursued by Bob de Lorenzi, during His Lifetime, in Fostering and Promoting Telework and Telecommuting: Jack Heacock.
