Scott McNealy to Unveil Plan that Saves California Billions in Operating Costs
Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) September 15, 2011
McNealy from Sun Microsystems will deliver a Keynote speech at the Work Anywhere Symposium on September 22, 2011 in Sacramento. He will unveil new research results about a new business model for telework and the proven savings realized. State and local governments need to know telework is not an all or nothing proposition, the dirty little secret is if State workers work at home just 2 days per week the state would keep almost $1.5 billion in its wallet each year, $170 million of that in real estate costs alone. According to Telework Research Network’s study, California could save a whopping $800 million in increased productivity and $500 million in absenteeism and turnover costs.
