Nicole Belson Goluboff, an attorney in New York, is a nationally recognized advocate for pro-telework legislation and policies.  She has worked with lawmakers and the public to advance measures that would eliminate barriers to telework and facilitate its growth.  She was the winner of the Telework Coalition 2006 Hall of Fame Award for Legislative Advocacy to Benefit Teleworkers Nationwide.

Nicole is the author of The Law of Telecommuting (ALI-ABA 2001) and The Law of Telecommuting Supplement (ALI-ABA 2004).  These books, described in the 2008 issue of Employment Law Strategist as the “seminal work” on telework law, examine how the laws that typically apply to employment relationships apply differently when employees work off-site, either occasionally or full-time.  According to Lawyers Weekly USA, The Law of Telecommuting “treads carefully and thoroughly through the thicket of regulations, tax incentives and labor laws that affect telecommuting….  For attorneys who want to keep their business clients out of trouble, [the book] is an invaluable guide.”
